The Big Day!

We had our last meal as a family and that was a tasty breakfast at IHOP. Elder Buck was so nervous he barely touched his food and was extremely nervous.

We headed down to Provo, and arrived at the MTC around 11am and we were told we could go to the parking lot across the street and spend as much time as we wanted saying our last goodbye's and taking pictures. We took a few pictures, and then it was time to bite the bullet and drive across the street to drop him off. There were a lot of tears-mainly by Ausha- who couldn't keep it together and was having the hardest time out of everyone. Yesterday she told me I couldn't even say the word mission cause it would make her cry.

Our neighbor Elder Battaglia who is also at the MTC, said he would meet Elder Buck outside to help him get settled and show him around. Michelle found him in the herd of kids and yelled his name and all the missionaries were looking around and asking each other 'who's Bridger'? It was entertaining. We gave our last hugs, unloaded his luggage and watched him walk away to begin this amazing journey.

We have written him letters, but have not received any from him yet- but we'll keep you posted on how he's doing.
