Elder Buck has been transferred to Moreno Vally, CA and will be serving in 2 wards and one of them is a Samoan ward, so he's very excited. He also has a new companion, Elder Carter from Canada and they have hit it off!
While in Riverside he became friends with The Silva family who he has become very close with. They had an open house for Elder Buck and his former companion since they were both leaving the area, then Brother Silva took Elder Buck to his new area so that was really neat.
He's been enjoying his time so far and likes getting the monthly care packages we send, and the letters, so please continue to keep him in your thought and prayers- it means a lot to him and to us.
Every letter we get from him he is coming more and more into his skin and getting comfortable being a missionary and absolutely loves it! He is not afraid to walk up to people and talk about the church and give them the Book of Mormon and or be turned away. That in itself is amazing for him and it's awe inspiring to see him grow as a person and his testimony grow- he is going to continue to be an amazing missionary.
